Federal Employee Giving and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

The CFC gives federal workers, retirees, and government contractors an efficient, cost-effective, and employee-focused opportunity to support various causes. During an active CFC campaign season, you may designate the Book Bank as a recipient of your contribution by using CFC Number 27605.

Give with Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

DAFs (Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, etc.) are a great way to give to an IRS-approved charity of your choice while receiving an instant tax benefit.  With a DAF, you can make grant-giving recommendations from the account to organizations like the Maryland Book Bank!  Contact your sponsoring organization to learn more.

Give with an IRA Distribution 

Individuals 70½ or older may make a gift to the Maryland Book Bank directly from an IRA account to satisfy part or all of the required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.

Make a Legacy Gift to the Maryland Book Bank in your Will or Trust

Your estate gift leaves a legacy that provides equitable book access to Maryland's youngest readers for years to come.  

When planning your estate, feel free to use this sample language: 

To leave a specific amount or percentage of your will:

  • “I bequeath to The Maryland Book Bank at 1794 Union Ave Baltimore, MD 21211 (Tax ID: 46-2714742)  with the sum of $____ (or ____% of my estate or property described herein), for its general purposes.

To make a residuary bequest to the Maryland Book Bank:

  • “All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, I give to the Maryland Book Bank at 1794 Union Ave Baltimore, MD 21211 (Tax ID: 46-2714742) for its general purposes.”
